The KNOW framework
32 statements, 8 in each area: K Know Yourself, N Navigate the Workplace, O Own Your Skills and W Work Towards Readiness. Each is rated 1 Not yet, 2 Rarely, 3 Sometimes, 4 Often or 5 Consistently. Five statements that depend on opportunity also offer “Not yet had the opportunity”.
Scoring
- Area score = ((average rating − 1) ÷ 4) × 100, rounded.
- “Not yet had the opportunity” is left out of the average, never scored as low.
- An area needs at least 5 rated answers; a completed quiz always meets this.
- The overall score is the average of the four area scores, shown when all four are scored.
- Bands: 0–39 Building the Foundations · 40–59 Developing Your Readiness · 60–79 Strengthening Your Readiness · 80–100 Demonstrating Strong Readiness Habits.
- Strengths and priorities are the highest and lowest areas; scores within 5 points are treated as joint.
- Priority habits are the 2–3 lowest-rated statements scored Sometimes or below. Each comes with a free practice action.
Limits
Results are self-reported and describe habits, not ability. They are guidance for personal development and are not designed or validated for selection decisions.
